'Family on Mission, Shining Brightly with God'
Lighthouse (Sunday Mornings)
On Sunday mornings our children aged 0 - 11 meet during the morning services (except for Fluid Church Sundays) in age appropriate groups which provide a safe, caring environment in which they can learn, worship and grow as followers of Jesus. Each group is led by a team of volunteers who plan and lead the sessions to enable each child to have fun as they grow closer in relationship with each other, as a family and with God.
We seek to support the whole family in the nurturing and spiritual growth of their children. We want each family who is part of our church community to grow together to know God's love for them, with hearts that are deeply connected to Him, enabling them to be missionaries and disciples to the people and families around them.
This is our mid-week group for parents, grandparents or carers with babies, toddlers or children under 5 and meets on Wednesdays in term time between 10am and 11.30am. We can guarantee a warm welcome and friendly community! We have lots of toys, games, jigsaws, dressing-up, crafts, books and even a small outdoor play area for when the weather is nice! Refreshments for adults and children alike are served each week, so come along and make new friends as we chat and play together.
Why not also join us for lunch (11.30 - 12) by bringing your own picnic?
This is our after school club for children aged 5-11 years from the church and surrounding community. We aim to meet Jesus, make friends and have fun. We meet every fortnight on Thursday evenings at St Mary's Church Hall in Handyside from 5.30PM to 7PM.
